Hi and welcome to my website jamesdigiacomo.com and Accidentally On Purpose. The name comes from things that always seem to happen in my life, "accidentally on purpose". I wanted my site to be a little different than the typical actor site. So grab some coffee, kick up your feet and make sure you explore those RED tabs up top. My "Acting Reel" tab is where you will see some of the many commercials, TV shows and films I have appeared in. Then you'll notice tabs with some names like "Angie", "Tony" and "Roger", which are 3 characters I have created and continue to expand upon. The single most influential show growing up was In Living Color and my dream as a kid was to one day have a sketch comedy show like it. So I figured, until that day comes I will continue to create and make people smile, laugh or just shake their head in disbelief. I also grew up watching Abbott & Costello, Laurel & Hardey, The 3 Stooges and Benny Hill. I love other British comedies like Little Britain and Monty Python as well. Some of what I do may be offensive to some people I suppose. So be warned! Angie especially is very PG13.
I have many other passions, some I just recently discovered, like editing and web design, tada! So I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks! I also enjoy producing, directing and getting back massages!!! OK back to my walk through, you'll notice my "Bio", which has an article written by Bob Freville and published on kotorimagazine.com and I didn't even have to pay him to write such nice things. My "Contact Info" is for anyone who may wish to hire me or collaborate in some way.
At this time, I am looking for the following in the Los Angeles area: Sketch comedy writer, comedic actors who improv (age 20-32), cinematographer, and someone who does lighting and sound. I am VERY loyal and hope to continue to form a team of people I can grow with. I hope to go from making comedy sketches for fun, to making a living at it with a core group of friends. Us actors have A LOT of down time, so why not use some of that time and work towards keeping those creative brain cells flowing!
